James Hardie, manufacturer of Hardiplank siding, has established strict criteria for an installer to be considered at the Platinum Level. Here are a few of the key requirements to achieve Platinum Level status:

• Customer endorsements every 6 months
• The ability to measure customer satisfaction
• Satisfactory background check with past customers
• Satisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau
• 4 years in business as the same company under the same name
• State licensed
• Full bonded
• Liability insurance
• Place of business (no home-office, garage or P.O. Box)
• Satisfactory credit report
